Here is a sampling of the companies RVI members have invested in.

Dexrex (2007)

Dexrex is a social technology company which provides a personal data management service that runs on top of the existing Instant Messenger networks and software.  Its service ultimately will provide consumers with databases created from chat logs which will advance the efficiency of online advertising and web commerce.

"Dexrex began in 2005 as a student project at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. We had a serious passion for improving IM, and launched the company one year later as an all-student startup. Soon, we realized that by preserving and organizing IM conversations, we can help people to chat smarter and better understand their online world... Dexrex is about getting more out of instant messaging. We want to give people the tools they need to preserve their memories, understand their relationships, and enrich their social lives. We believe that if we can preserve, illustrate, and facilitate online conversations and relationships, we can make the online world personal again."
