The River Valley Investors is primarily composed of people just like you: entrepreneurs. We understand the risks, the potential rewards, and the tremendous difficulties of building a business. That is why we take a hands-on approach to early stage investing to help you make a difference and to generate above-market returns. Our members form strong bonds with company founders, serving as mentors and sometimes even taking on major line responsibilities in the emerging companies.

Quick Version - Get the big picture

  • What we look for - Companies with an experienced management team, the opportunity to turn every dollar invested into ten in 5-7 years, is in a market our group is knowledgeable of, and ideally is within a 1-2 hour drive from Springfield, MA.
     
  • Process - Submit your executive summary according to our submission guidelines, the screening committee decides if there is interest, you give a ten minute presentation to our membership, we proceed to due diligence, and (if all goes well) we invest.
     
  • Value - When we invest in a company we not only bring funding, we also bring deep domain knowledge, extensive networks of high-value people, and a wealth of person experience in building successful businesses.
